The new Yonex Nanoflare 800 TOUR Badminton Racket is based on the Yonex Nanoflare 800 PRO Racket.

Yonex offer PRO, TOUR, GAME and PLAY series rackets, each developed with the same performance concept but featuring variations in flexibility, materials used, technologies equipped, intended skill level and country of manufacture.

The Yonex GAME model is a take-down version of the PRO model. Typically, they possess flexible to medium stiffness shafts and are aimed at club level players who have good technique but want more forgiveness. GAME frames are made in Taiwan and have a lower price point compared to the PRO and TOUR models.

As the playing style in badminton has evolved, opportunities in rally’s appear and instead of allowing opponents to lift the shuttlecock after a net shot for a subsequent smash, players now create smash opportunities through rapid drives that disrupt their opponent’s response and cause the shuttlecock to rise. Consequently, racket design focus has been on augmenting the speed of drives, enabling more assertive shots.

The NANOFLARE 800 has been developed to take advantage of this play style and is further strengthened with an Enhanced Sonic Flare System, Wide Profile Frame and a new stringing pattern. Incorporating the NANOFLARE DNA to enhance manoeuvrability and repulsion, the capabilities of the NANOFLARE 800 significantly amplify the speed of drives, compelling opponents to struggle in their attempts to react to the shuttlecock.

For club level players, the NANOFLARE 800 GAME model combines an innovative system in design that leverages the steep angle from the stringing area to the T-joint, along with the integration of copper at the bottom of the frame to increase rigidity, ultimately enhancing the overall repulsion of drives.

The design of the NANOFLARE 800 is unique because it incorporates semi-exposed stripes of carbon graphite. These stripes appear differently depending on the viewing angle under the light, expressing unexpected speed.

The Nanoflare 800 is perfectly suited for fast games where quick reflexes are required, making it ideal for high-level doubles play and for players who love being the aggressor close to the net. With a head-light balance, this racket can be whipped around with ease, so nothing can hold you back when defending, smashing, or in flat rallies.

The Super Slim Shaft used on this racket is Yonex’s thinnest yet, vastly reducing air resistance and providing added feel. Combine this with the Sonic Flare system, which is strategically lined high-modulus graphite at the top and bottom of the frame, and you have a racket proven to produce high initial speeds upon hitting a shuttle.

The frame itself is dedicated to drives, with a steep angle from the stringing area to the T-joint and copper used at the bottom of the frame, increasing the rigidity of the racket and further enhancing repulsion, enabling powerful drives to take your opponent by surprise. The wide profile of the frame is also key, providing extra racket surface stability to minimise warping during your swing and produce powerful, controlled shots.

To simplify the returns process, we offer a pre-filled returns form that you can use to return your item. However, if you are returning an item from outside the UK, you will be responsible for the shipping costs, which must include tracking information.

Once we receive your returned item, we will provide a full refund for the value of the goods, minus the cost of us sending the order to you initially.

Warranty Policy

Within 30 Days of receipt of the items:

If you have received items with genuine manufacturer defects, you are entitled to a simple 30-day warranty from the retailer. Simply return the items within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange.

More than 30 days?

If it has been more than 30 days since receipt of the items, we will work with the brands or suppliers to determine whether the defect can be covered under warranty. In most cases, the defect will be covered, but the outcome may depend on how the damage occurred.

Still not covered but within 6 months of purchase?

If the items are not covered under warranty but are still within six months of purchase, we offer a crash replacement policy. This means that we will provide a 25% discount off your next order for the same or an alternative replacement item. Please note that this does not include postage costs.
